A New Venue for Warhammer in Edinburgh
Edinburgh has always had a passionate Warhammer community—painters, players, lore‑lovers, and tournament regulars. But the city lacked a dedicated, modern space specifically for tabletop gaming.
If you’ve spent years navigating the venue options for Warhammer in Edinburgh, you’ll know the usual trade‑off: lovely but only one or two tables available or big but a bit old and tatty.
At Valour Games we wanted to change that. Tucked just behind the top of Leith Walk, we are here to be the kind of space we’ve always wanted for playing Warhammer in Edinburgh, offering our community a big, bright, and welcoming place to play and connect.
Our location was once Georgian stables and later a commercial bakery. We’ve worked to transform it into a gaming space with high ceilings, great lighting, and plenty of room for full‑size Warhammer tables. It’s spacious, comfortable, and ideal for long game sessions.
A Hub for Warhammer 40K, Age of Sigmar, and the Wider Hobby
Valour Games is a meeting point for all corners of the Warhammer community:
- Quality mats and terrain for Warhammer 40K, Age of Sigmar and Old World. We’ve got the big tables and all the stuff you need for your next battle.
- Support for other systems. If you are into another system such as Necromunda, Blood Bowl or something else, we can help with that too. Pop over to our FAQs for more info.
- A Discord to link our community. With plenty of members, so you can do everything from find someone to play right through to organising a full narrative campaign.
- New player support Beginners are welcome. If you are new to the hobby or getting back into it after a while away, we’re here to help you learn the rules and join your first game.
Easy Access for Edinburgh Gamers
Located just a short walk from Waverley Station and five minutes from the McDonald Road tram stop, Valour Games is one of the most accessible gaming venues in the city. Whether you’re coming from within Edinburgh, or further afield, getting to your next Warhammer game is straightforward. We’re also wheelchair accessible so we can include as many members of our community as possible.
